While Teresa and her family were hopeful about Joe’s deportation appeal, they never let the fact out of their mind that Joe could be deported. Their worse fear came true as they were dealt a huge blow when ICE denied the appeal.
The Family’s reaction on the recent blow…
Teresa Guidice admitted that she was fearful of how much Joe, 47, would miss in the lives of their daughters — Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10 — if he gets deported to Italy. She added that it was hard for her daughters to cope with the fact that their father might get deported and will be absent for some of the most significant moments of their life. She then proceeded by saying that the girls adore their father, and no child should have to go through what her daughters are going through. They should have their daddy here.
“When you’re a mom, and your children are hurting, it just kills you so much,” Teresa added. “If I could take any of this pain away from them, I wish I could.”
Family attorney’s take on the situation.
“We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr Giudice’s appeal. We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters,” James J. Leonard Jr., the Giudice family attorney, tells PEOPLE in a statement.
Let’s hope that there is good news for Joe and Teresa in future and Joe doesn’t have to part from his daughters.
