A man got stabbed at the Warner Bros set for the remake of “the witches” starring Anna Hathaway.
Warner Bros recently commenced the shoot of the remake of “the witches”, a 1990 dark fantasy comedy, which was directed by Nicolas Roeg. However, the remake that the Warner Bros are producing is said to be premiering in 2020 staring Anne Hathaway who would be playing the role of the Grand High Witch and other actors including Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, and Chris Rock.
During its shoot at the Warner Bros studio in Leavesden, in Hertfordshire, on Wednesday at around 12:30 pm, a film crew worker was stabbed with a slipping knife. The victim suffered some minor neck injuries. He was taken to the hospital right away.
The Hertfordshire police have arrested a 54-year-old man on suspicion. The police had informed that -“It is believed the men are known to each other. Inquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened.”
Also, some of the staff and crew workers heard the two arguings, but could not hear the exact words. They say that the argument took place after one stole other’s tea bag. However, the suspect has been released on bail and is due back in court on 17th July.
It is unclear whether the cast of the film including Anna Hathaway was present at the set during which the incident took place. And the production of the movie was shut briefly, but it has not been affected and has been resumed.
