Emma Watson in Little Women, Look her New Avatar as Margaret

A Long haul after The Circle and Beauty and the Beast of 2017 and an appearance in a wonderful and one of the most awaited projects ‘Little Women’ is something that is Emma Watson’s style. The fans will witness the 29-year-old Harry Potter actress in this remake of Louisa May Alcott novel. She is portraying the eldest sister Margaret ‘Meg’ March in the movie that has created a lot of buzzes even before the release.

Star-Studded Cast

Even being an old story, the movie is in the limelight because of the star-studded cast it has. Not only Emma but the whole cast can be termed as a well established and demanded one. To break the excitement, here we have the entire ensemble. It has Saoirse Ronan as protagonist Josephine ‘Jo’ March while James Norton of Happy Valley and McMafia will portray James Norton who is Meg’s husband in the remake.

Australian actress Eliza Scanlan who was acclaimed for her role is HBO’s Sharp Objects, and Australian soap Home and Away is set to make her film debut with Little Women as Elizabeth ‘Beth’ March. Another actress who is portraying the March sisters is Florence Pugh as Amy who was starred in The Falling and Lady Macbeth and Fighting With My Family.

Apart from these young talents, we will see screen icon Meryl Streep in the role of Aunt March. Bob Odenkirk, who was seen in Better Call Saul is also listed in the ensemble but for an unknown role.

When else was Little Women Adopted as Movie?

Interestingly, this is not the first time that this favorite novel of America is hitting the big screens. The story was previously adopted in 1933 and 1994 too. In 1933’s version Katharine Hepburn was the highlight of the movie, and in the later one Winona Ryder, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst, and Christian Bale were cast for the role of Match sisters.
