The popularity of Marvel Cinematic Universe is at par with the Game of Thrones, starting from the Iron Man (2008) to the Avengers: Endgame (2019), the actors who have played the role has become the same to us. After twenty-two movies, we can’t possibly imagine anyone else playing Spider-Man other than Tom Holland.
It has surfaced that Chris Hemsworth had helped in Holland landing his dream character. Anyone who has watched the interviews with Tom Holland is pretty much aware of his love for Spider-Man since he was a kid. It’s heartwarming that Chris Hemsworth helped him achieve that.
Hemsworth speaking to Entertainment Tonight said, “I mean, look, we worked on In the Heart of the Sea together, obviously, then through Avengers and as they were casting him for Spider-Man, I did what I could do and made a call and said he’s one of the most talented people I’ve worked with and has such a big heart and appreciation. I don’t know. We have a great friendship. It’s a good mutual respect.”
We are thankful to him for recommending our “friendly neighborhood superhero” as Tom Holland. I am sure every fan is eager for the upcoming Spider-Man movie. It is going to quench our thirst for superheroes after a few months of droughts.
