The American superhero movie, Wonder Woman 1984 will be the sequel of the movie Wonder Woman, which was released in 2017.

It is based on the DC comic character, Wonder Women.

In the movie, we will see Wonder Woman ( Gal Gadot), having a face-off against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). The story is set during the Cold War.

Recently, the director of Wonder Woman 1984, Patty Jenkins, shared a picture on twitter. The picture was of actor Chris Pine, who returns as Steve Trevor. He was Wonder Woman’s lover. However, he passes away in Wonder Woman 2017.

Who is Steve Trevor?

Steve Trevor was introduced in Wonder Woman 2017. He was an American spy and a pilot, who fell in love with Wonder Woman, during World War I.

Trevor sacrificed his life to save other people in that area. He flew an airplane containing deadly gas which was used during the war. Unfortunately, the plane blew up in mid-air and Trevor was killed. After this incident, Wonder Woman went into depression.

The shocking revelation, by the director, Patty Jenkins on the return of Steve Trevor, which left us thinking, “ How can Steve Trevor be alive?” However, there can be several ways Trevor could return without actually been brought back to life. It can be Wonder Woman’s constant imaginary vision or by time travel that will bring Steve Trevor into 1980s.

Fans are waiting with excitement to see the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. Chris Pine was critically acclaimed for his role as Steve Trevor in the 2017 movie Wonder Woman.
However, Chris Pine says that he will not play the role of Steve Trevor anymore. After a long time, we hope to see some romantic and action moments between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor.
