WGN America was about to start a new series named ‘Dog’s Most Wanted’ with the Chapman couple. It also paid honor to the lady. CNN reported it as “We are deeply saddened by the tragic news that Beth Chapman lost her battle with cancer today. She was an exceptional woman, fiercely loyal and passionate about her family, and she was a true joy to work with. All of us at WGN America will miss her tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with Duane, her family, loved ones, and millions of fans.”
Her Battle with Cancer
We heard about her stage 2 cancer in September 2017 when the couple announced the diagnosis through their official Facebook account. But they enthralled Beth’s supporter when they announced in A&E special, Dog & Beth: Fight of Their Lives that she is cancer free. But the cloud of gloominess returned when the disease returned last year. From then, we regularly heard about her health status. In January Beth told Star-Advertiser newspaper that “I’m a fighter, I’m a strong fighter — big-time survivor — and I’m gonna fight this as vigorously as it’s fighting me.”
In April only Duane revealed that her wife is admitted to hospital. Later news of release claimed that she is stable. On June 23, we again came across the news of her enrollment to the hospital. On the following day, we witnessed a lovely picture shared by Duane. The picture was of the couple taken from the bedside at the hospital.
Her Wonderful Journey
Born in Denver, Beth was not only a renowned TV personality but was also the youngest woman to receive a bail license in her home state. Interestingly, this record was later surpassed by her daughter Baby Lyssa.
She was a devoted businesswoman who dealt in bail bond business for around 30 years. Her achievements don’t end here as she was a member of the executive board of the national association. Later, she won a presidency bid of the same board in February 2016.
Beth Chapman’s Family
‘The Dog the Bounty Hunter’ which was a reality show that aired from 2004 to 2012. It chronicled Chapman’s family-owned bounty hunting business. We can easily claim that the vast following the show had was mainly because of the love story the couple shared.  The beloved couple has 12 children together.
Their son Leland was also the part of CMT’s reality series, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt which aired from 2013 to 2015.
