Fast and Furious 9 filming begins, Vin Diesel & Ludacris shares behind the scene moments with the cast

Fast and Furious is under production. It is going to hit the cinemas with the 9th sequel.

The Second Last Movie in Fast and Furious in Franchise

Justin will be directing the movie. Welcome back to him! Fast and Furious 9 is taking the proper time to get developed compared to other Fast and Furious movies. There has been news floating around that Morgan didn’t write the story. Daniel Casey wrote the initial script, with maybe Michelle Rodriguez. It is supposed to be near an endgame as the next sequel will be the final one.

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock Won’t Return

The Rock is not returning to Fast and Furious 9. There’s good news; John Cena has a role to play in the movie. Universal has officially not released any report nor do we have any cast list yet. A safe guess is that Vin Diesel (Dom), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty) and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges (Tej) will be back.

Originally the movie was scheduled to be released in April 2019, but the date got reset. It was pushed back a full year to April 10, 2020. That has once again been changed. Now Universal has announced the movie will be out in May 2020. The date of release is May 22, 2020. The production started in London in February 2019.

The 10th and the last sequel will hopefully come one year after the release of Fast and Furious 9.
