Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about the struggles of her married life with Will Smith. The actress revealed that she even considered walking away from her marriage at one point. The duo have reportedly faced several ups and downs during the course of their marriage.

In an interview with People magazine, Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about the incident. The actress admitted that she stuck into a low point after her 10 year marriage anniversary with Will Smith.
“There was too much concentration on what was happening externally, and the family unit itself wasn’t getting the attention and care that I felt we needed,” she revealed.

The actress graced the cover of the magazine alongside her daughter, Willow and mother Adrienne. The trio host the Red Table Talk, which is a Facebook Watch series.
“Will’s [Smith] like, ‘We just came from Oslo, going to the [2009] Nobel Peace Prize ceremony [for Barack Obama] as a family, you’ve got a big house with a lake — isn’t this amazing?!’ And I’m like, ‘No’. By the time my 40th [birthday] came, I was like, ‘I can’t do it anymore.’ I was so depleted.” Jada Pinkett Smith continued on the incident.
She also talked about her struggle with depression. It eventually lead Jada Pinkett Smith to even consider committing suicide. The actress realised that she needed to bring her life back on track.
“I had to really take time out for me and figure out what I wanted for myself,” the “Girls Trip” actress explained. “I had to kind of put everyone aside and ask, ‘What would I do every day if it was just Jada?’ I literally had no idea.” Jada Pinkett Smith commented about her journey to overcome her struggle.
The actress’ family stood like a rock behind her. She acknowledged that her bond with Will Smith was strong. “The journey between Will and me … we have come to such a beautiful place,” she shared about her relationship.
