Is Tom Clancy’s Splinter cell one of the three unannounced games releasing in 2020 by Ubisoft?
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell is a series of award-winning stealth video games developed by Ubisoft, the first of which was released in 2002 for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, Mac, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance along with their tie-in novels. Ubisoft is also known for its popular game “Assasins creed.”
The last Splinter cell game was released in the year 2013 as “Splinter Cell: Blacklist,” and since then the fans are waiting for more updates. However, in 2018, Ubisoft did introduce a Splinter Cell-themed game “Ghost Recon: Wildlands,” starring Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher ( the protagonist in the Splinter Cell).
But the fans are still waiting for the original Splinter Cell to return. And they did find a silver lining in 2017 at the E3 Ubisoft when CEO Yves Guillemot said in regards of the game that “I can’t say much about that. But, for sure, all the Clancy games are taken care of. It’s just we have quite a lot on our plate at the moment.. the Clancy games are coming along, so we do not forget Splinter Cell.”
Earlier this year Ubisoft did reveal that they have four new games releasing by March 2020, and now there are rumors that Splinter cell could probably be among one of these games releasing in 2020.
Also, Julian Gerighty, the creative director and producer of few of the series of Splinter Cell in May this year tweeted about working on Splinter Cell which excited the fans and confirmed that a new Splinter Cell game is coming for sure.

Apart from that, a new Splinter Cell was also listed in 2018’s infamous Walmart Canada leak list of several games, including big games like Gears 5 and Borderlands 3. Splinter Cell was also listed in a separate Amazon Canada list in the same year.
If the game is releasing next year and has taken such a long time in its development, it is for sure going to be new and amazing.
