Allison Williams (of Girls and Get Out fame) has split from Ricky Van Veen, her entrepreneur husband.
The Story of Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen
Van Veen and Williams married in September 2015 after a four-year courtship. Their wedding took place in Saratoga, Wyoming and was presided over by acclaimed veteran actor Tom Hanks. They made their vows before a party of high-profile guests. They stated to the press regarding their separation. According to CNN, they said, “With mutual love and respect, we have decided to separate as a couple. We are grateful for the friendship that we have and will continue to have.”

It appears that the couple’s romance fizzled out in early 2018. Someone leaked that this was owing to their highly contrasting personalities: Allison was loud and outgoing while Van Veen was relatively quiet and reserved. They quit going out with each other and were mostly spotted alone. It was also rumored that they were no longer living together on their $2 million property in Chelsea.
