In India, we celebrate doctors day on 1st July. In the memory and honor of the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
He was born on 1st July and died when he was 80 years old on the same date in 1962. Dr. B.C Roy was honored with the country’s highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna on 4th February 1961. The celebration of the Doctors’ Day is a practice in order to emphasize the value of doctors in our lives. And to offer them our respects by celebrating one of their greatest representatives.

India has manifested and exhibited remarkable developments and improvements in the medical field. And 1st July is a perfect tribute to all the doctors who have made continuous efforts towards achieving this goal irrespective of the odds and difficulties.
In other countries, this day is celebrated as a holiday. But in India doctors work hard and devote their day to make their patients well. We offer our salutations and thanks to the doctors who are always working hard for our welfare.
Our doctors sacrifice their festivals and events in order to serve us. We are thankful to them. And that’s why we call our doctors God. Due to their service to us and care they give us.
India has great doctors who are indulged in day to night practicing with their patients. They never denied and never ask anything. We are grateful that we have them
Happy doctors day to all.
And thanks to every doctor Who sacrificed many things for our sake.
We are proud of our doctors.
Jai Hind!
