Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in Guardians of the Galaxy 3? CONFIRMED OR NOT

Lady Gaga’s career was completely reinvented thanks to the smash hit film A Star Is Born, Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut. Her duet with Cooper, “Shallow,” even went on to win two Grammys, an Oscar, a BAFTA and several other prestigious awards.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Again?

Are we looking at another collaboration between Cooper and Gaga? Recent news seems to suggest that Lady Gaga might have been cast in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as the love interest of Rocket Raccoon, a character voiced by Cooper.

According to the Marvel fandom, Rocket Raccoon’s love interest is another anthropomorphic raccoon called Lady Lylla, an orphaned heiress. She was formerly married to the now-deceased Blackjack O’Hare, an ambitious mercenary and the leader of the Black Bunny Brigade.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be directed by James Gunn. There is still no word on plot details and release dates, but Gunn has mentioned that the narrative will focus heavily on Rocket Raccoon, a character he is personally very excited about.

According to Den of Geek, members of the core cast who are expected to reprise their roles include Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel and Zoe Saldana as Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord, Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Kraglin, Groot and Gamora respectively.

Some Nice and Not-So-Nice Things to Remember

While a Cooper-Gaga reunion sounds exciting, it must also be kept in mind that it could be awkward. This is because Cooper split with his girlfriend of four years, Russian model Irina Shayk, due to suspicion about his relationship with Gaga.

On the bright side, Cooper and Gaga have brilliant onscreen chemistry, and the success of their first collaboration will motivate this performance as well.
