Jeon Mi-Seon: South Korean Actress Found Dead in a Hotel Room

Jeon Mi-Seon, 48 went missing for two days. When the manager called the police, it came into light that she’s dead in her hotel room.

ABOUT THE ACTRESS

Jeon was a South Korean actress born on December 7, 1970, has worked in several films,  theatres, and TV. Mostly well known for her supporting roles. Her first works are in TV series MBC Best Theatre “What is Santa Claus”? (1986), the first movie ‘Well,  Let’s Look at the Sky Sometimes’ where the actress played the role of Eun Kyung.

She was also a part of a music video ‘Let’s not meet again’ with the artist Jang Hye-jin. The actress has done theatre in Our Mother, three days and two nights (2009-2014), No Suicides Allowed In Spring (2009).

The King Letter’s artist won many awards, and first among them is ‘17th Golden Awards Cinematography’ in the category of Best New actress for her work in Sado Sate Impotence. Her last award was in 2015 ‘SBS Drama Awards’ as a special actress in the daily drama The Return of Hwang.’

After the death of famous American actor Billy Drago last week, now Jeon Mi-Seon died at the age of 48. Her manager filed her missing report to the police when she was not seen for two days.

THE REASON OF THE DEATH IS STILL UNKNOWN

According to the sources she came to Jeonju for some work. On investigating the police found that she’s dead in the bathroom of her hotel room. On speaking with Jeon’s agency, they said, “The late Jeon Mi-sun had received treatments for her depression. We regret that we bring sad tidings.”

A police investigation is still going on to find out the reason for the death. For now, they are sticking to suicide as a reason, but they also came to know that Jeon checked in the hotel two days ago and there was no suicide note. “It seems Jeon has been largely depressed as she recently lost a family member while her mother has been ill in bed,” the police reported.
