Justin Bieber took to Instagram 7 hours ago in defense of his manager Scooter Braun, accused of “manipulative bullying.” Taylor Swift, 29, recently spoke out against Scooter Braun on Tumblr, referencing a 2016 Instagram post by Bieber as evidence of Braun “bullying me on social media.”
“He’s about to own all the music I’ve ever made,” the singer wrote, referring to Scooter Braun’s deal with her former label Big Machine Label Group. “All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years.”

The harsh words didn’t sit well with Bieber who took to Instagram, sharing an old photo of him and Taylor, apologizing, and then launching into a full-throttled defense of his manager.

“Hey Taylor,” he said in his post. “First of all I would like to apologize for posting that hurtful Instagram post, at the time I thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive.”
“As the years have passed we haven’t crossed paths and gotten to communicate our differences, hurts or frustrations,” Bieber wrote. “So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn’t fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? it seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter.”
He also offered his help. “Anyway, One thing I know is both scooters and I love you. I’m sure Scooter and I would love to talk to you and resolve any conflict, pain or any feelings that need to be addressed,” he wrote.

Braun’s wife, Yel Braun also came to his defense, writing, “Interesting that the man you’re so ‘grossed out’ by believed in you more than you believe in yourself,” she wrote. “MY husband is anything but a bully.”
