Christina Applegate & Linda Cardellini coming back for Dead To Me Season 2: Everything We Know!

Dead To Me Season 2 is obviously coming back, and we could experience more of the dark comedy-drama. Dead to Me Season 1 with 10 episodes was streamed on Netflix on May 3, 2019. Since then the show garnered lots of positive reviews and acclaims.

The show stars a guest star from Friends, Christina Applegate and a star from period drama Mad Men, Linda Cardellini. Liz Feldman serves as the showrunner for this dark-humored show. Will Farell and Adam Mckay also serve as Executive Producers for the show.

Story So Far

The story revolves around two women named Jen and Judy. Jen Harding is a widow that works as a real estate agent, who is trying to recover from the loss of husband by attending therapy and grief support center. Also, Judy is grieving for the loss of her fiance due to a heart attack. There’s a lot of twist in this tale, one being that Judy is the actual hit-and-run driver who killed Jen husband. And surprisingly these two ladies are best friends now. Jen has put herself more in darker aspect while Judy is taking all the positive vibes around.Christina Applegate & Linda Cardellini coming back for Dead To Me Season 2: Everything We Know!

The Season Two ends with Steve, Judy’s ex-fiance floating on the pool. The gun was pulled by Jen Harding.

What Now

The Season One was more of grievance and guilt but Season Two is expected to be thrilling. Jen and Judy now have killed each other partner, so Will Jen forgive Judy? Or both will end up in Jail? Season Two may establish enemy-relation between the two best friends. Liz Feldman said the ending is not what we think so Jen might not have killed and we could expect more twists again!

Release Date

Netflix hasn’t confirmed the release date, but everyone from Dead To Me has confirmed Season Two is a go. Season 1 happened in May 2019, and so we could expect Season 2 might happen in between April/May/June 2020.
