Though Shazam!’s fans had expected the arrival of its arch-nemesis Black Adam in the first movie itself, they, unfortunately, didn’t get it. But the recent clip released by Warner Bros. has hinted positively at the enemy’s arrival. And no one can sit still after this!

Shazam! has always been connected to Black Adam and their functioning without the other cannot go for long. This recent clip released has excited the majority of the DCEU fans.
Black Adam has a rich and powerful history and was the Wizard’s Champion before Billy Batson. Ultimately, he’s the villain and he disobeys the council rules and goes on his way to attain superiority.
The ‘Rock’ has been set to play the iconic Black Adam since 2014 but his hectic schedule and unavailability has made it impossible for a solo movie. Dwayne Johnson for many years since then has teased the movie’s release.
“For those who know the comic books and who know the mythology of Shazam, Shazam is connected to Black Adam,” Johnson explained in a video posted on his personal Instagram page.”Black Adam is an antihero or villain, who I can not wait to play. I’ve been developing this, and it’s been with me in my DNA, for over ten years now. We should start shooting that in about a year. I’m very excited about that…”I can’t wait to play Black Adam, because they’re all getting their asses kicked when I play Black Adam. That day of reckoning is coming for everyone.”
Seems like we’re really on for the arrival of Black Adam but till now it isn’t sure whether there’ll be a solo movie for Black Adam or not.
Some rumors also suggest that the performance of the digital release of Shazam! will indirectly or directly affect the Shazam 2’s production.
