Kooda B has shed some light by sharing major information about 6ix9nie’s (also known as Tekashi 6ix9ine) involvement in the shooting case of Chief Keef.
In the court, Kooda assured that he was not the man who shot at Chief Keef. The shooting took place outside the W Hotel in New York in early June of last year. The music artist also revealed information to the involvement of Tekashi 6ix9ine in the crime. Apart from that, he admitted to a single count of assault with a weapon in pursuit of racketeering.
In the plea document, he states, “I arranged for the individual to be driven to Times Square and carry out the plan in front of the W Hotel. When the target came out of the hotel, the individual fired a shot in the direction of the area where the target was standing”.
He also added, “The shot was fired because Tekashi wanted to intimidate rather than actually hit the individual. I did this because Tekashi asked me to arrange this.” Though he gave relevant information related to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s involvement in the case, he did not mention that who had actually pulled the trigger that day.
This will certainly give a new direction to the case. Also, he will be sentenced around 3 to 4 years in jail. But for the actual sentence, we will have to wait till October 4.
