While having an interview with the media the film’s director Rob Marshall said that “After an extensive search, it was abundantly clear that Halle possesses that rare combination of spirit, heart, youth, innocence, and substance — plus a glorious singing voice — all intrinsic qualities necessary to play this iconic role.” and really it took a long time to him to find a perfect Ariel and fans are really excited to see Halle as Ariel.
