It is reported that McCarthy will play the character of Sea witch Ursula in the new version of The Little Mermaid by Disney.
Ursula is the sea witch, and she makes a deceitful deal with Princess Ariel for her to meet the human prince, namely Eric whom she loves.
Ariel is unaware of Ursula’s intentions and carried away in love because of which she puts herself into significant trouble.
It is not confirmed yet, but it would be the first official cast of the remake.
Mary Poppins will direct it with Lin Manuel Miranda and Rob Marshall.
