Fans are excited to play No Man’s Sky in VR mode since the studio announced the new update of the game in March.
Is No Mans Sky VR compatible with other platforms?
Since the launch No Man’s Sky in 2016, the developers of the game have updated the game to bring in new features that the fans wanted. And now this summer, No Man’s Sky Beyond is coming up with significant features out of which the one gamers are excited about is the VR support feature. Here’s the trailer.
Before you start to worry whether the VR mode is compatible or not, we have good news for the fans. The studio Hello Games is bringing the game to every headset via Steam VR and PSVR. No Man’s Sky has full support for PSVR, Rift, and Vive. Hello, Games has announced that the game’s entire feature set is fully compatible with VR. The VR players will be able to play the game with non-VR players on the same platform without any difficulty.
Virtual Reality mode escalates your experience of playing…
No Man’s Sky Virtual Reality is not a separate mode, but the entire game brought to life in virtual reality. Playing No Man’s Sky in virtual reality mode will undoubtedly give the players all the feels, both good and bad while navigating through the four pillars of the game: exploration, survival, combat, and trading.
As developer Sean Murray has also said that the game is all about exploration and the exploration is more interesting in virtual reality. Players will be able to interact with the world and can do many things like piloting the spaceships using virtual throttles and joysticks, exploring new planets surrounded by weird creatures and many more exciting things.
The new update has its downsides too…
Players will have to be cautious while playing some parts as some might feel their vertigo kick in while standing on a mountain top. Some scenes can also make you feel nauseous and claustrophobic like when you’re inside a closed space.
Well, if virtual reality has its ups in the form of having an otherworldly experience by being in a whole new different world, then it has its downs also. But despite everything, we can say that the developers have done an excellent job by bringing in this cool feature to No Man’s Sky.
