How the end credits of Spiderman: Far From Home has set the stage for Daredevil to enter MCU?
In the mid-credits of Spiderman: Far From Home, we saw Spiderman (Tom Holland) swinging with his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) in the streets of Manhattan when suddenly J.J. Johnson (J.K. Simmons) appears on a billboard with an altered video clip. He alleges Spiderman to be responsible for the London attack and the death of Mysterio. Not just that, but in the clip, Mysterio also reveals Spiderman’s true identity as a high schooler named Peter Parker.
So, we can say that in the next Spiderman movie, Peter will have a lot to deal with- proving himself to be innocent along with fighting off enemies who now know his true identity. And this is how the stage has been set for Matt Murdock aka Daredevil to enter the Spiderman series. Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock in the Marvel series Daredevil for Netflix, has often expressed his desire in the past to work with Tom Holland’s Spiderman saying he’d love to work with him.
Daredevil can be of great help to Spiderman
Matt, who’s a lawyer by profession, can be a great help to Peter, who has to clear his name off the allegations. Not just helping Peter to prove his innocence, Daredevil himself being a superhero can join hands with Spiderman to kick some more evil butts in the next movie. We can say that he might be the saving grace for Spiderman in Spiderman 3.
Problems concerning their merger
It’s a bit hard to say for Daredevil to enter Marvels Cinematic Universe considering the cancellation of its season 3 by Netflix last year. According to some rules, if a show is canceled by Netflix then, the show or its characters can’t be picked up by any other medium for the next two years.
So, MCU will have to wait till 2020, but then again we have a dilemma as Marvel has decided to release a Spiderman movie every two years. So the next Spiderman might come in 2021. This means MCU has to delay its schedule for Spiderman 3 if it wants Daredevil to join hands with Spiderman.
Well, the viewers would want to see the smart and cynical Daredevil helping our innocent and naive Spiderman who will need some significant help, especially because this time, he won’t have his father figure Tony Stark aka Ironman to help him in the next Spiderman movie.
