Doctor Strange 2 is confirmed and is to be penned this year and filming will be underway next year while the film will be released in 2021 and Scott Derrickson is signed as director for the sequel
Doctor Strange is a successful American 2106 film by Marvel Cinematic Universe and as we all know it’s a sequel is already confirmed by MCU.
Scott Derrickson directed doctor Strange 1, and now It is officially confirmed that Scott Derrickson is going to return as a director in the sequence.
Karl Mordo, very famous villain will play the primary villain in the sequel of Doctor Strange.
It is reported that the script of the Doctor Strange 2 is to be penned this year and will be in production next year and it is expected to be released at the end of 2021.

As per the reports, the production of the movie is not possible this year so we can expect that it will be in production next year.
Jon Spaihts wrote the script of Doctor Strange 1, and initially, it was said he would again write the script for the sequence, but now it is reported that new writer has been brought to pen the script for the sequel.
In the first Doctor Strange, Rachel McAdams played the role Christine Palmer, who is the Stephen Strange’s love interest, and she is expected to return for the sequel.
It is also expected that Doctor Strange may team up with Spiderman as Holland said,
“I’m really wanting to do a team-up with Doctor Strange because we’re both New Yorkers and I just really like the idea of a science guy being teamed up with a guy who does magic because it contradicts everything he knows.”
