June 6, 2019, is a big day for the Royal Family of Britain and also for the well-wishers of the Royal Family. This day, the two-month-old son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be baptized in a ceremony. The function will happen at the castle’s chapel and will be closed for public and also the media.
The ceremony is taking place exactly two months after the Sussexes had their first baby. The baptism will happen in Private Chapel in Windsor Castle. It also happens to be the same castle in which Prince Harry and Meghan married.
The Royal Family got numerous good wishes from around the globe, but people are upset as the ceremony will be intimate in nature. It will be attended by at most 25 people. So this will be attended by family and close friends. So those who wanted to witness the ceremony will not be able to be a part of it. Media will be not there so no live coverage will be there. But the Sussexes will issue photographs of the ceremony of their choice afterward.
Apart from that, the name of the godparents is also not yet disclosed. The names will remain private as per the royal couple’s wishes. But we know that they will be baptized Christians.
This is not the first time that the royal family has kept their family matter close to themselves; without the attention of the world. Other royal christenings have also taken place entirely behind the closed doors.
