ASAP Rocky is stuck in Sweden due to some assault charges, was denied to travel and missed the Wireless Festival.
ASAP Rocky, an American rapper, actor, producer, model, record producer, and music video producer was born on October 3, 1988, in Harlem NYC, the U.S. His real name is Rakim Mayers, 30 started to rap at the age of 9 when they moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He has learned rap from his elder brother who has the French braid hairstyle which was later adopted by Rakim too. He sold drugs moving around in homeless shelters with his mother and sister. Rocky shared a cell with rapper Casanova in 2004 cause of selling drugs.

His career started in 2007, and his works include Long.Live.ASAP(2003), At.Long.Last.ASAP(2015), Testing(2018). His labels are ASAP Worldwide, Polo grounds, RCA. Rakim’s debut mixtape Live.Love.A$AP in 2011. That lead him to gain popularity, and he got the record deal with Polo Grounds Music, RCA Records, and Sony Music too.
About the Incident
He was once arrested for allegedly slapping a woman. And now he is being denied to further travel in his tour and stopped over Sweden flight. ASAP Rocky has been detained in Stockholm for two weeks due to investigation regarding assault as explained by his lawyer Henrik Olsson Lilja.
“He of course is very disappointed and this is a catastrophe for his tour,” Mr. Olsson Lilja said. Apparently, it was due to two Instagram videos that were posted where he was seen punching a man in the street, lifting and then throwing a man.
Sweden Authority is still in a dilemma to whether to take formal action and following a detention hearing in Stockholm. The men are seen following Rocky where he’s saying, “We don’t want to fight with you.”
The tour dates were scheduled, but this detention in Stockholm changed everything.
