Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor who was born on 6 May 2019 at Portland Hospital in London, exactly after two months his christening was celebrated. It was the private ceremony in Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel at Windsor Castle. Unlike St. George’s chapel where services like Prince Harry’s christening and marriage was held accompanied a large number of people, Windsor Castle has room for 30 people. But the ceremony took place evenly as only 25 close family members were invited.

What did Archie wear and who was invited?

Archie was made to wear the replica of the historical gown, previously worn by Sixty two royal babies including Prince Harry. Archie looked effortlessly captivating. Only close family friends were invited including sisters of Queen Diana namely Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah Mc Corquodale. Prince Charles and Camilla(his wife), Duchess of Cornwall. Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Meghan’s mother was also present.

The Instagram Post

Both the parents have been private about their child and didn’t let any media interference; thus even in this ceremony, they posted a picture on their official handle in Instagram with a green background looking picture perfect. With a caption “This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.”
