Katherine Heigl expected to return for the final season of Grey’s Anatomy
The 49-years old American actress and former fashion model Katherine Heigl played the role of Dr. Izzie Stevens up till the sixth season of the famous American medical drama series Grey’s Anatomy. The series started in 2005, and Katherine appeared for the last time in 2010 during season six. However, recently, she hinted her return to the show.
Now, when the series is coming to an end with its sixteenth and final season, the audience could expect a come back of Katherine in the show.
When she was asked about what she thinks about playing this role again, she said, “I haven’t in years. I don’t know. I don’t know if I would or if I wouldn’t,”.
“I almost feel like that would almost be distracting again to, sort of, what they’ve done with that show in the seven years since I left… and what that’s become and what it is to the fans now.”
Katherine has done a lot of movies after her exit from Grey’s Anatomy and was also a part of the famous Netflix series Suits. But she is not sure if she would be able to play the role of Dr. Izzie Stevens now after such a long time.
