The most valuable player of the tournament Rapinoe won the Golden Ball, and for scoring the highest number of goals she also won the Golden Boot.

Ertz was slighted as one of the top 11 players of the World Cup, but her impact on the team could not be overlooked. Ertz has established herself as one of best midfielders in the world as a two-way midfielder, helping create stability on the back end while also creating opportunities on offense. This championship is Ertz’s second, as she was on the national team when they won the tournament in 2015.
