You can now play as Avenged Sevenfold’s frontman M. Shadows in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops Battle Royal Mode.
M. Shadows has got his playable character in Call of Duty
We are well aware of the relationship that the band Avenged Sevenfold has with Call Of Duty. And now, they’ve taken a step further by including the band’s frontman M. Shadows as a playable character in the hit video game franchise: Call of Duty: Black Ops Battle Royal Mode as part of the new Operation Apocalypse Z Blackout. Watch the trailer:
The band and the video game have a long history together
The announcement was made during Treyarch’s live stream in which the musician who claims to be a game nerd himself talked about the friendship that the band has with the video game developer. Shadows said that the band has a very deep relationship with the team at Treyarch. They are proud to be part of the family and extremely excited for people to enjoy this next chapter and their contribution.
Shadows also revealed that he’s obsessed with Call of Duty which is more than just a game to them as it had helped him and the band when they lost drummer Jimmy “The Rev” in 2009. The singer said that having his character in the game is a “career highlight” for him. Trejo will also be seen in the Blackout. Watch the whole interview here:
Music created by Avenged Sevenfold for Call of Duty
Avenged Sevenfold has written original music for the Black Ops series which include Not Ready To Die for Black Ops 1, Carry On for Black Ops 2, Jade Helm for Black Ops 3 and Mad Hatter for Black Ops 4. Confirming that Avenged Sevenfold music will be there in the updated Blackout mode, Shadows said the new update would make the Battle Royale mode darker with an increased focus on zombies.
