Accused is reported as a previous offender Michael Paul Adams, who was released from prison two days earlier.

The witnesses say to the Peoria Police Department that he first stabbed the victim at his back and then slit his throat.

After that, the victim fled from the store and one of the witnesses tried to stop the blood coming out from neck till he was taken to hospital and then he died at a hospital about 20 minutes later.

Michael Paul is under suspicion, but it is reported that the victim and accused did not know each other, and if they did not know, then the next question comes, why did Adam kill Elijah?.

After the murder, Mr. Adam walked out of the shop as if nothing happened as per the surveillance tape, but every criminal has to be caught.

After that, police caught him nearby stained with blood and were possessed with a folded knife in his pocket. He admitted and confessed about the murder to the police.

When the police asked Adam why he killed Elijah, then he replied that Adam is white while Elijah was multiracial as he was listening to rap music on his car radio. Because of that music, he was threatened, so he killed Elijah.

Mr. Adams said that rap music “makes him feel unsafe,” as I’m the past he was attacked by Blacks, Native American, and Hispanics people who used to listen to rap music.

“People who listen to rap music are a threat to him and the community.”

Mr. Adams also added that he did feel that “he needed to be proactive rather than reactive and protect himself and his community from the victim.”

He is charged with Premeditated Murder in the first degree.
