Designated Survivor Season 3 was interesting, real and with a flair for the dramatic, to say the least. And it left fans all over the world waiting for the next season.
And along with that, it left quite some plot holes for the Season 4 to take up. So get ready because we bring to you everything that Season 4 could possibly have!
When Do We Get To See It?
Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Season 4 yet. But Season 3 was received positively all over the world so an announcement could be on the way anytime now.

All The Drama for Season 4
Starting with Tom Kirkman’s inner moral battle. Season 3 saw Tom sacrifice certain values to win the race, even ending with an episode with his therapist. He might’ve been looking for absolution then, but will he continue to play in the dirty, lies-filled world of DC politics like everybody else? We can expect some more internal moral conflict coming soon.\
And then there’s Isabel. The Season 3 finale reveals her to be pregnant, probably with Aaron’s kid. Since the couple is officially over, it remains to be seen what she will decide to do.
We could also see Lorraine Zimmer going to prison for her crimes. But then again, she’s smart, witty and has money. Will she be able to beat back the FBI? A legal trial against her could totally be planned for Season 4.
And there’s the question of Emily. Disappointed in Kirkman’s departure from honesty, she leaves the after-party in tears. Will she ever return to the Kirkman administration?
Season 4 has a lot of questions lined up to answer.
The Cast: Who Will Return And Who Won’t?
One of our favorites, Maggie Q who plays Agent Wells won’t be returning after Well’s death in Season 3. And Emily and Lorraine’s return is also up in the air. But we could expect just about everybody else to come back. That includes Kiefer Sutherland, Adan Canto (Aaron Shore), Elena Tovar (Isabel Pardo) and Anthony Edwards (Mars Harper) and Mckenna Grace (Penny Kirkman).
