With a wonderful initiative of Farm Aid, it will mark its first event to be hosted in East Troy, Wisconsin. Willie Nelson founded it in 1985. Since 1991 it is celebrated every year to develop consciousness about the farming crisis in America as well as raising funds to uplift the farmers for their betterment.

The event will happen on September 21 at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy.

This time they have also focused on Dairy Farming, which currently is in crisis in Wisconsin. This state also goes by the name of ‘America’s Dairyland’ in second to California in producing milk products and is especially known for its cheese.

But the state is currently having trouble with its dairy farms. It is reported that it has declined 40% in its production as compared to a decade earlier. It has also lost almost 700 dairy farms in previous years and 300 in this year.

Since 1985, Farm Aid has raised $57 million to support the farmers in crisis. With respect to the crisis its founder, Willie Nelson said, “With devastating weather, low prices and harmful farm and trade policies, America’s family farmers are facing immense challenges to hold on to their farms. It’s not right. family farmers are essential for all of us,”

In the event, we will see Farm Aid members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews. In addition to them, the event will feature more artists to support the cause. Bonnie Taitt, Margo Price, Tanya Tucker, Jamey Johnson, Brothers Osborne, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid will also perform.
