For the best part of nearly a year now, a litany of tabloids and their widespread readership spread around the globe have been utterly enraptured by the rumours and speculation surrounding the potential relationship between actor Bradley Cooper and singer Lady Gaga. Since the release of their 2018 film A Star Is Born, though, as is often the case in such celebrity tete-a-tetes, mere conjecture always prevails over factuality.
The rumour mill began churning right after the film’s release in August last year, with many who watched the critical and commercial success noting that one of its foremost achievements was concocting a relationship between its protagonists that was genuinely believable. And this leads many to conclude, for obvious reasons, that this was a sign of off-screen romance that happened to translate over.

Of course, part of the reason why such a theory was discredited at the time was due to Cooper dating Russian model Irina Shayk, though many entertainment publications have reported over the course of the summer that the two have, in fact, now broken-up.
This came a few months after the Gaga-Cooper rumours truly piqued when their much-touted Academy Awards performance of ‘Shallow’ displayed such intimacy that Twitter practically suffered a virtual meltdown and the paparazzi had a field day capturing their favourite new potential couple.
Lady Gaga has been the more forthcoming one of the two when it comes to addressing these claims, having often dodged questions along a similar line or simply denied them outright, such as the instance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

But, as is the tale of the tape, observers never truly allow the end of the line for such sagas subsequent to being confronted, and interactions continue to be presumed as ventures of a relationship that might not actually exist.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, however, will appear together in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 together.
Cooper will reprise his role as Rocket Raccoon, whilst Gaga has been brought on-board to voice Lylla Otter, Rocket’s love interest.
