The feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun has become a full-blown battle. Many celebrities from the industry have taken sides.
Taylor Swift’s hard work is now in Braun’s hands
The whole deal about the fight concerns Swift’s earlier record label Big Machine which she left last year. In a Tumblr post, Swift has alleged Scooter Braun of buying her record labels which includes her first six albums for $300 million without informing her first. Braun is a talent manager and entrepreneur. He has worked with Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato. He was the former manager of Kanye West.
Taylor was not given any chance to buy her labels
She has also accused Scott Borchetta who founded the record label in 2005, of manipulative bullying saying that in the past, she has many a time proposed to buy her labels but was refused by Scott every time. And now all her hard work is in the hands of Braun who she said bullied her for years.
The Bad Blood singer has claimed that she was not informed of the deal and learned about it through the news reports. But Borchetta responded that he had sent a text to her on June 29, the night before the deal. He also wrote that Swift’s father, Scott Swift, was informed on June 25 of the label’s sale to Baun as Scott is one of the shareholders of the label. However, a rep for Swift told that her dad didn’t participate in the shareholder’s call due to strict NDA because he didn’t want to withhold any information from his daughter.
Celebrities have taken their sides
Many celebrities have come forward to support Swift. The latest being Kelly Clarkson who has advised the 29-year-old to re-record all the songs she didn’t own. She further said that she’d buy all the new versions just to prove a point.

Others who have sided with Swift include rapper Iggy Azalea, singer Alessia Cara, Todrick Hall, models Martha Hunt and Sara Sampaio. Even The Bachelorette star Hannah Browm and The Hills Spencer Pratt have come forward to support Swift.
On the other hand, Demi Lovato, Justin Beiber and Braun’s wife Yael have shown their support for Braun. Braun hasn’t commented anything on the feud so far.
