A long-time couple of celebrity’s world got married and kept it secret for quite a time. You may wonder about whom we are talking. It is Ed Sheeran and his girlfriend-turned-wife, Cherry Seaborn with whom he was in a relationship for a few years. The singer-songwriter broke the news in an interview on the YouTube show Charlamagne Tha God.
The British singer was on the show to talk about his new collaboration album that was released on 12th July. Justin Bieber, Stormzy, Eminem, 50 Cent and Bruno Mars are the artist with whom Sheeran had contributed.
The Revelation
His marriage confirmation came when he was discussing one of the songs from the collaboration albums that is ‘Remember My Name’. He called Seaborn his wife in the song. “Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick,” the lyrics go on.
He also revealed that the lyrics were prepared before their marriage, and he was known to the thing that he will be married till the time the song will be unveiled. “It was actually before Cherry, and I got married, and I knew that we’d be married by the point that the song came out,” Sheeran said. “Someone’s gonna hear that and be like, ‘Oh, they’re married!’ I didn’t know how that would be construed, but obviously it’s already come out,” he added later.

The couple shocked everyone with the news, though their marriage’s rumours swirled in February only. The Sun reports then quoted the source as “Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet – just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family, and the priest.”
The 28-year-old ‘Shape of You’ singer first met his wife at a primary school in eastern England. But no, they were dating since then. Their relationship got a kick when Sheeran invited Seaborn to Taylor Swift’s Fourth of July Party in 2015. In January 2018 Sheeran, through his Instagram post has revealed that they got engaged before the New Year.
