The Grammy Award winner Chester had a history of depression and alcoholism, and he struggled to fight his inner demons. He had a difficult childhood as well, and these things were clearly reflected in his songs.
A lot of people who have had been fighting depression and anxiety just like him found solace in his music, which made them feel a little less alone. And yet when he is gone his songs are helping heal others.
