Most popular theory by fans

The comeback of Ant-man confused a lot of people as he was not even the part of the infinity war. As per “Ant-man and the wasps” he was closed in the quantum realm. As he was studying Pin particles and quantum mechanics which leads him to the path of the past too. This taught him how time slows down in the quantum world.

According to many fans he was saved because he was not there at the time of the snap. Many even concluded that he was saved as he had his luck and stones don’t work in the quantum world.

The truth

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (writers) answered the fan’s question about Ant-man and said that his luck saved him. He stated that the stones don’t work on the Quantum realm. Thus he was all good, and it was his luck that the realm trapped him; otherwise, he would also be erased.
