Natalie Portman will become Goddess of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder

Actress and director Natalie Portman will be seen in the upcoming Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. She is an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards winner. Natalie was last seen in the 2018 release The Death & Life of John F. Donovan. She played the role of Sam Turner.

The actress made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2011. She played the role of Jane Foster. She was seen in the movies, Thor which was released in 2011 and Thor: The Dark World which was released in 2013. Natalie was absent in the third film, Thor: Ragnarok which was released in 2017. The movie, Thor: Love and Thunder will be the fourth Thor film. The movie will be directed by Taika Waititi.

Jane Foster was seen in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Jane Foster was a nurse employed by Dr. Donald Blake.
She found Thor after he was evicted from Asgard and fell on Earth. Jane Foster helped him with his mission to return to Asgard. They eventually fell in love with each other.

How did Jane Foster become the Goddess of Thunder?

Jane Foster took over the job of manning Mjolnir in the absence of Thor. In the Marvel comics, Jane became Thor after Nick Fury whispered something in Odinson’s ear. This made him unworthy of wielding the hammer. That time, Jane stepped in to defend Asgard.

However, she was under treatment for breast cancer. She bravely fought alongside Thor to protect the Ten Realms from Malekith and Roxxon. Subsequently, she died in the battle against the Mangog, saving the Asgardians. However, she was brought back to life by Odin. Jane Foster is currently a Valkyrie. She is regaining her powers to defeat the Malekith.
