At Mableton, A white man has admitted that he has cursed a pregnant black woman Georgia lawmaker, as she was taking too many items into the supermarket express lane, but he has denied telling her, “go back where you came from.”.
On Saturday, Eric Sparkes showed up during an interview with the Rep. Erica Thomas of Austell. They were outside the Atlanta-area Publix store where the whole incident has occurred. Thomas has confronted sparkes in front of the report, and he faced that he has said “degraded and berated” her. She has notified the police, and they will seek store video, she has also told the Associated Press.
Last week Thomas’s video went video as the hashtag #IStandwithErica trended on Twitter. This video was first posted on Facebook in which Thomas she was in the express line because she is nine months pregnant and cannot stand for long.

On Saturday Sparkes told the reporter that he called her a vulgarity but did not say anything racial. And in the reply, Thomas noted that Sparkes was trying to make himself look better.
In a statement, the Publix has said that the company is cooperating will the local law enforcement as they look into the case.
This incident was reported a day after President Donald Trump tweeted that the four congresswomen of colour, including U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, should go back to the “broken and crime-infested” countries they came from.
In her, video Thomas has accused the president of inciting colour hate while a TV interview she said that “needs to be held accountable because people can’t just go out and berate pregnant women.”
