Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) were desperate to see Brad Pitt join the Marvel world and their wish was granted with his surprise appearance in Marvel’s Deadpool 2 which was released earlier this year.
This was the first time that the 55-year-old American actor and producer William Bradley Pitt aka Brad Pitt appeared in a Marvel movie. Although his appearance was very brief, he played the role of the “Vanisher,” who had the ability to become invisible. The Vanisher only became visible at the end of the movie where he dies and loses its power, and that is when Brad appears in the scene.
This cameo made the audience more interested in watching Brad playing some other Marvel’s superhero roles future. But Brad has admitted that he was satisfied with his short role in the movie which fulfilled his curiosity for the superhero cinema.
On one of his interview with the MTV News, he said: “I think I’ve taken it as far as I can take it.” Brad also talked about how he charged Ryan Reynolds for the role of the Vanisher.
Reynolds said that “I was told all he wants is a cup of coffee, and I said, ‘Like a franchise or just one individual cup of coffee?”. He continued saying, “I was told one individual cup of coffee, which was really his way of saying, ‘I’m doing it for nothing.’ And it was a total solid and the nicest thing anyone could do.”
However, Brad was rumored for playing some of the MCU characters, but they were just rumors, and it seems like he is done with superhero movies. He did play the role of the Vanisher but as we know that the character is dead we cannot expect Brad to play that role again and now casting him for another role could be a bit confusing.
