Tony Cacciotti, Husband Of Valerie Harper Doesn’t Want Harper To Be in Hospice

American actress Valerie Kathryn Harper best known for playing a role as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show along with a spin-off Rhoda during the 1970s is struggling through the hardship in health conditions. The veteran actress was diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, which is a form of cancer back in 2013.

Recently the doctors requested, in fact, recommended that the Rhoda lady should be moved to hospice care. But Harper’s husband, Tony Cacciotti, has quite the opposite feeling about this recommendation. Tony Cacciotti doesn’t want his beloved wife to be transferred to hospice. He doesn’t have any plans regarding that and will dedicate his life to care, Harper, till he can.

The 40 years of shared commitment with Valerie and him is the reason behind the actor’s decision to decline the recommendation from the doctors to put Valerie in hospice. The actor even quoted that he is obvious that he wouldn’t himself let Valerie be in hospice because of all those noble deeds Valerie had been doing while she was fit on earth. He also admitted that he would make Valerie as much comfortable as it is possible to keep her up forward as long as the almighty pours the power and strength to them. Tony Cacciotti even expressed the gratefulness to everyone who financially aids them.

“For those of you who have been in this position, you will totally understand that ‘it’s hard letting go.’ So as long as I’m able and capable, I’ll be where I belong right beside her. Many, many thanks for your outpouring of kindness and support.” Words from the man, Tony Cacciotti.

Tony Cacciotti and the three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, Valerie Kathryn Harper, tied the knot in 1987.
