Beating out the three-time consecutive winner Conrad, Disney Cruise Line is named the top mega-ship Ocean Cruise Line by the readers of Travel + Leisure.
With its four mega-ships, Disney Cruise crossed the No.2 rank and became the Topper of this list. These mega-ships includes the Magic and the Wonder, with capacity for 2,713 guests each; and the newer Dream and Fantasy, which can accommodate 4,000 each.

Disney has expanded the capacity of its Fleet. It has three ships new on order which are expected to roll out over three consecutive years starting in 2021. Each vessel is expected to sail with 1,250 staterooms at 140,000 gross ton. They are trying to make them about the same size as Disney Dream and fantasy. On the island of Eleuthera which is known for its pink sand beach and surf, there the Cruise Line has purchased 746 acres of land.

One avid reader of the Travel + Leisure told the editor that “Disney Cruise Line knows how to do things right. It’s not just for kids. They set the bar so high.”
The top-notch entertainment, adults-only pools, and refined dining options are the big reasons behind the Disney cruises success. Another reader responded that “The adult-only venues, like the Skyline bar, are top quality, and we barely even noticed that we were on a ‘family cruise line,’”. The Cruise Line is going to add more stuff for the young children and multigenerational groups.
Jeff Vahle, The vice president of the Cruise line, said “This award is an honour for our team,” “It certainly is a testament to the one-of-a-kind entertainment and experiences available on our ships.”
Cunard, the topper of the list for the last three years, came to second Holland American lines, Princess Cruise, Celebrity Cruise, Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, and MSC Cruises followed him in the list.
