It is known to all that Netflix always bring new content every month. This August is no different as we will see a variety of content in it, and the upcoming content will bring back the nostalgic feeling in you. The streaming service has announced that in the next month, it will stream the 1995 classic film, ‘Now and Then.’ The movie is directed by Lesli Linkar Glatter and stars Christina Ricci, Rosie O’Donnell, Thora Birch, Melanie Griffith, Gaby Hoffmann, and Demi Moore.
The cult classic movie, ‘Now and Then,’ is about the friendship of four women. They shared their memories of a pivotal summer they had together as adolescents in 1970.
Though that time the movie had moderate financial success, it managed to be loved by people. It collected around $37 million on a low budget of $12 million.
The story starts in 1991 when the gang of childhood friends reunites in Shelby, Indiana, which is the hometown to these folks. These characters are beautifully portrayed in the film as their present is way different than their childhood. The movie progresses by taking us to the flashback to 1970; when these girls were young and very innocent goals.
Apart from this movie, there will be different films available in the streaming platform, which will bring nostalgia to you. Rocky 1 to 5 will also be available this August.
