Rutger Olsen Hauer is a Dutch actor plus writer and environmentalist. He had his works over the Dutch films, American and Italian films too. He started his career quite early, but with a Dutch TV series Floris he got the worthed recognition, and after the Turkish movie Delight he got entry into American films with Nighthawks in 1998 a thriller.
But the most famous and essential movie of his career was Blade Runner. Rutger played an antihero and delivered his famous monologue “ I have seen things you people wouldn’t believe, Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. Tim to die”.
Apart from the movie, he did various low budget screen roles and humorous Guinness Commercials. Rutgers also received numerous notable awards over his careers.

Apart from Blade Runner, other works were The Osterman Weekend, Ladyhawke, Blind Fury, Blood if Heroes, etc. His funeral was held today. The prestigious talent will significantly be missed not only by the industry but by the fans too. He was more loved to due to his pleasant personality, as stated above he was an environmentalist he did campaigns for AIDS awareness.
