Cats will be coming this year 2019, a British American musical fantasy film based on the musical of “Cats.” The film is going to release in December. It was a book ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’ by T.S. Eliot. The producers of the film are Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Debra Hayward and Tom Hooper was is also the director. Starring Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson, James Cordon, Jason Derulo and many more.
About the movie
The movie is about a tribe of cats named as Jellicles who decide which cat should ascend to Heaviside Layer and come back to a new choice. And this whole thing of decision is termed as “Jellicle Choice.”

Its trailer recently came out and had a “rich strangeness” as described by T.S. Elliot. It has portrayed human as a cat, somewhat a human cat which was slightly disturbing for people to watch as it’s not mainstream and out of someone’s imagination.

Clare Reihill said, “The cats in the poems inhabit a slightly unfixed world. Sometimes the cats seem to exist in a normal human world, and sometimes they seem to inhabit an all feline one- it’s never quite clarified. I think Eliot might have enjoyed the rich strangeness of the blurring boundary between human and cat in the trailer, which is in keeping with the elusiveness of the world of the poems or indeed the nocturnal surrealism of something like Rhapsody on Windy Night. He was also a great fan of Jacques Tati’s movies, with surreal urban ballets.”
The technology used was CGI, which helped humans looking like cats and was a mixture of somewhat horror and strangeness.
