It’s a piece of great news for the fans of perhaps stupidest ex-spy-turned-space captain. Got a click? Yes, it’s about FXX’s series ‘Archer.’ The adventures or can be termed misadventures are unstoppable and the series getting renewed for its eleventh season. The breaking came at the time when the Archer season 10 is on the verge of its conclusion.
The Revelation At Comic-on
During its panel at Comic-Con on Friday, FXX revealed the plan to add another season to the Adam Reed created series. “We are incredibly excited for our 11th season and look forward to Archer waking up from his coma and returning to a spy world that has continued without him for the past three years,” executive producer Casey Willis said on occasion.
‘ Archer: 1999’, the tenth leg of the series will see its end on 31st July 2019. It’s about the dysfunctional, irreverent Archer and his colleagues being in space aboard M/V Seamus salvage ship. The anthology based series started with Sterling Archer and his team’s intelligence operation named ISIS. In the last three years, the series has taken a whole new path with its lead role being in a coma. Retaining its core cast, the American animated sitcom always comes up with the new setting and new storylines, even distinct humor. Starting with its eighth season in 2017, the series started premiering on FXX instead of FX.
Reed who was not only the creator but played the role of an executive producer too has also voiced the openly gay Ray Gillette in the series. Matt Thompson and Willis were the other executive producer with him at Floyd County Productions.
The Hilarious Ensemble
Archer in the series is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin. Others in the ensemble are Malory Archer (Jessica Walter), Lana Kane (Aisha Tyler), Cyril Figgis (Chris Parnell), Cheryl Tunt (Judy Greer), Pam Poovey (Amber Nash), Dr. Algernop Krieger (Lucky Yates).
