On Tuesday, when One Direction officially marked its nine-year ‘The Mirror’ came up with the news that speculated the reasons for the split of the music group. “Drugs, Meltdowns and ‘Gay Sex’ Rumors—How ‘Rivalry and Hatred’ Tore One Direction Apart” the headlines of The Mirror’s articles read. The title itself suggests much more. But the content referred Larry Stylinson (a portmanteau of Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson’s names) fan fiction as the reason which resulted in One Direction’s dissolution.

Louis Lashed Out At The Tabloid
While none of the boys from the music group commented on the tabloid while Louis Tomlinson went straight and denied any such happening. The former One Direction singer took to Twitter to term the report as the “Biggest load of bulls–t I’ve seen in a while”. “Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn’t be further from the truth,” the tweet reads further.
“Louis, in particular, was extremely sensitive about the claims and admitted the speculation about their sexuality ‘created an atmosphere,” were the explained words the tabloid contained about the former One Direction singer.
Notably, the tabloid elaborated group’s break down in detail. How the singers gained fame and what leads to their separation. The author stated partying and smoking habits as the other reasons for dissolution. Zayn Malik who was first to leave the band also had a part in Mirror’s piece. The author quoted his saying in the article as “It’s not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them. They won’t naturally go put their arm around each other because they’re conscious of this thing that’s going on, which is not even true.”
Other Incidents Of Louis’ Private Life Being Publicly Exploited

Well, this is not the first time Louis came up with a straight denial to any such (fictional) private life being publicly exploited. There were incidents in the past that provoked many fans and the singer to speak up. Recently, HBO teen drama Euphoria premiered an anime oral sex scene supposedly between Harry and Louis. It upset fans and they voiced in support of the singer. Louis then also replied to the fans on Twitter that “I can categorically say that I was not contacted nor did I approve it.”
Louis Thanked His Fans

Apart from feathering away all these rumors, Louis didn’t forget to thank his supporters and fans on One Direction’s anniversary. Even after the “hiatus,” he tweeted “So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back! Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection.”
