Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has guest-edited the September issue of Vogue. Vogue is a fashion and lifestyle magazine. Since 1892 the magazine features people and stories who inspires people. These famous people encourage others to do something extraordinary.

This year’s September edition was first featuring Meghan on the cover page, but later she denied. According to the sources she did so as she doesn’t want to be boastful. With the release of the cover page, this is very clear that her motive was to let people get encouraged by the real heroes which she feels she is not yet.

The cover page features 15 aspiring females and leaves one column empty as a mirror where the readers can find themselves in the future.

Meghan, 37, used her stint as guest editor on the magazine to promote 15 women that inspired her

The magazine contains a conversation between Meghan and former US first lady Michelle Obama. New mum Meghan Markle, who gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, has spent seven months working on the unique Vogue project.

The duchess said: “Through this lens, I hope you’ll feel the strength of the collective in the diverse selection of women chosen for the cover as well as the team of support I called upon within the issue to help bring this to light.

“I hope readers feel as inspired as I do, by the forces for change they’ll find within these pages.”

Meghan is the first guest editor for the September issue as it is considered as one of the most important issues of the year. Edward said: “To have the country’s most influential beacon of change guest edit British Vogue at this time has been an honor, a pleasure, and a pleasant surprise.

“As you will see from her selections throughout this magazine, she is also willing to wade into more complex and nuanced areas, whether they concern female empowerment, mental health, race, or privilege.”
