The online multiplayer battle game, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds will soon get exciting new updates.
The online game was published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of a South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game was released on Android and iOS in March 2018.
During the PMCO Global Finals in Berlin, the General Manager of PUBG Mobile, Vincent Wang made few surprising announcements. The next update will be PUBG Mobile 0.14.0. Vincent Wang said that the PUBG Mobile would get a new and reworked Erangel map. The PUBG PC and mobile version has experienced an upgrade in many areas in the Erangel map.
In the upcoming Erangel 2.0 map, will have a complete renovation. Erangel is the oldest map in the PUBG game. There will be new graphics, textures, and changes in areas like Yasnaya Polyana, Mylta Power, Prison and other. There was a disclaimer at the bottom of the video that stated, “this is a promotional video, and actual game footage may vary.”
Vincent Wang also announced that PUBG Mobile would get a lighter version with 400MB, named PUBG Mobile Lite very soon. We will also see a brand new South African server in the upcoming update.
That’s not all; the PUBG Mobile will soon have a crossover with the American television series, Walking Dead. Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror television series based on a comic book series with the same name. Previously, PUBG Mobile had experienced few major crossovers like Godzilla, Resident Evil 2, and Bahubali.
During the Resident Evil, 2 collaboration PUBG reportedly gave us two Zombie survival game in the Evo game modes. We can expect another Zombie mode, this time when they are collaborating with Walking Dead. However, the General Manager of PUBG Mobile, Vincent Wang, wasn’t clear with the new updates.
Vincent Wang did not disclose the dates of the upcoming updates. But, we hope these exciting updates will surely keep us hooked to the game.
