WWE stars have a long history of involving themselves in Film and Television Industry and Paul Wight aka Big Show is not an exception. The professional wrestler and actor have already appeared in dozens of films and TV series. And it looks like the WWE superstar’s fans will be watching him again, this time in a family comedy on streaming giant Netflix.
Netflix will add a new 10-episode series in it is family and kid-friendly genre, produced by WWE Studios starring none other than WWE superstar, Big Show. Be prepared to experience some big show!
Allison Munn from the That ’70s Show, Reylynn Caster, who previously played in American Housewife, Juliet Donenfeld, and Lily Brooks O’Briant is set to share the screen with WWE star Big Show.
He will be playing the role of himself as the retired world-famous WWE superstar. But when his teenage daughter shows up to live with him, his wife and two daughters things quickly change. The superstar is now no longer a center of attraction in the family as he has been easily outsmarted despite being 7 feet tall and weighing 400 pounds.
The producers from the 2011 sitcom Happy Endings, Josh Bycel, and Jason Berge are set to serve as the show-runners for the series with Susan Levison and Richard Lowell serving as the Executive Producers.
The show will run into development from August 9, but the release dates haven’t been revealed.
