Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, the guys behind the dynamic and adored dining destination in the whole wide world, Eleven Madison Park, are on the verge of breaking up from their multi-million-dollar partnership.
The chef bought the exquisite eating place in the heart of New York City Daniel Humm along with his business partner, Will Guidara back in 2011 from the restaurateur Danny Meyer, who happens to be their mentor too. But all thanks to the two determined men who transformed into such a spectacular dining place composed of total elegance and indulgence.
Recently, the news broke out that Humm and Guidara are splitting up after proposal from Humm surfaced out to buy Mr. Guidara’s share of the business. Guidara, on the other hand, is ready to give up New York City’s most potent partnership and plans out to open very own group of restaurants. Many employees knew about this event for many days, and the rest of the 1000 staff found out just today via e-mail.
In a joint interview with both the former partners, Humm explained that all these years of working together and learning new things were absolutely incredible. He further said the two partners came into conclusion that Mr. Humm will be best for the company if he would run it alone.
Jeffrey Tascarella will be benefited from the break up as he is set to get the promotion to the chief operating officer. Sometime soon, Mr. Guidara will reveal the possible details of his plan.
William Reed Business Media in 2017 listed Eleven Madison Park as the No. 1 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
